About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Craftsman who takes pride in doing the job right – clean, professional, and customer-ready every time. You’ll walk into a home, diagnose the issue, communicate a clear plan, and deliver a finished result that looks great and lasts. We handle finding jobs, estimating, scheduling, insurance, accounting, and other administrative tasks so you can focus on what you do best: the craft.
What You’ll Work On
Primarily residential repair, renovations, and improvement projects. Most common work includes:
• Drywall repair – patching, blending, tape/mud, clean finish work
• Interior painting – walls, trim, touch-ups, cut-in work, clean lines
• Carpentry & trim – baseboards, casing, minor framing, repairs, deck resurfacing
• Door installs & repairs – slabs, pre-hungs, hardware, adjustments
• Punch lists – realtor requests, make-ready work, home sale prep
• General repairs – troubleshooting, problem-solving, small installs
Pay, Benefits & Perks
• $24–$35/hr total compensation (base pay + performance bonuses) – based on experience
• $40/day stipend ($200/week) – paid weekly on top of your hourly rate to cover tools and/or vehicle expenses

What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in handyman work, residential construction, maintenance, or remodeling
• Proficient in at least 3 of our core trades: drywall, painting, carpentry, doors, or punch list work
• Strong communicator – you can set expectations with customers, explain what you found, and leave them confident in the work
• Professional presence – you treat the home with respect, protect surfaces, clean up, and leave it better than you found it
• Dependable and solution-focused – you show up, you follow through, and when something unexpected comes up, you problem-solve
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if not assigned a company vehicle)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely on ladders
• Comfortable using a smartphone for job notes, photos, and communication
• Background check required prior to hire

• Experience in 4+ trade areas (drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, doors, tile, etc.)
